My protein layered peanut butter flavour bar.

Sharing is caring!

Appearance: 🔹The packaging description: Two layers of peanut butter flavour protein with a toasted soya layer and soy nuggets, enrobed in milk chocolate flavour coating with sugar and sweeteners topped with pretzel pieces. So yeah it’s a pretty busy snack.

Texture🔹: Crispy, crunchy, chewy, it cracks it pops it melts. They pretty much tick every box and end with a nice chewy texture. Really good.

Taste🔹: Theres a lot going on. I can definitely taste peanut butter and the pretzel pieces are bang on but the flavour overall is a little bland given it’s interesting appearance. Chocolate flavour isn’t there at all and I was left slightly disappointed.

This whole bar is a mixture of good and bad aspects. Good are the textures which make them really satisfying to eat, macros and some of the ingredients like real pretzel pieces.

Bad are the taste which is pretty bland and some really cheap ingredients like the fact there aren’t any actual peanuts in the ingredients at all, hydrolysated bovine collagen to hike up the protein content and chocolate flavour coating; anytime you see chocolate flavour coating on an ingredients list it’s bad news. It means they’ve cheaped out on actual chocolate and instead gone with this trash because it works out marginally cheaper. It explains why the flavour is lacking so much.

Looks awesome, is in fact a bit cheap and nasty. Pass on this one.
