Trying to be good by picking the healthy option:

This is based on a really life conversation I had with a co-worker recently. He explained he was trying to be good by eating a healthy salad instead of picking up a croissant for breakfast like he normally does.

In the guys defence he thought he was doing the right thing but when it comes to food looks can be deceiving.

And while the lettuce may well contain a handful of essential nutrients it’s pretty clear the salad is a lot more calorie dense then the name might suggest.
