You hear this one all the time:

I’m doing everything right, my nutrition has been perfect and I’m training my ass off and I’m not seeing a drop on the scale.

Weeks go by and you start to doubt yourself and then all of a sudden whoosh! A big drop on the scale out of the blue.

Why does it happen? 🤔

It could be that you had just experienced the Whoosh effect. Fat cells can be stubborn, hanging on for several days.

Moral of the story: Don’t doubt yourself or change your diet or training based on a few heavy scale weigh ins.
