Grenade Jaffa Quake.

Sharing is caring!

Not sure why it took me so long to get to this one but non the less here it is:

Appearance: 🔹regular sized bar at 60g. These have a chocolate coating with a layer of crispy bits, caramel and finally a nought centre.

Texture🔹: The chocolate cracks on biting and the caramel is very sticky and has a sticks to your teeth quality which I always like.

Taste🔹: Really good. The caramel is really as good as always but it gets and orange flavour this time. The orange isn’t overpowering, they’ve managed to add just the right amount to get the balance right. It’s not a synthetic flavour either. The nougat centre hasn’t changed its prefectly sweet and pairs nicely with the bar.

All in all it’s another really good bar and a worthy addition to the carb killa line. Ingredients , macros, taste, texture. All the boxes are ticked.

Although the Jaffa name had me expecting some sort of jelly type layer in place of the usual caramel but sadly not. So slightly disappointed.

They haven’t reinvented the wheel here, they taken an already good bar and given it a orange flavour. Grenade is basically tweaking the original recipe. I guess if it’s not broken you shouldn’t try to fix it too much.

8.5/10

Definitely worth trying trying if chocolate orange is your thing.
